- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a sole source, firm fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001 to the Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO for the Distributed Targeting System (DTS) for supplies and services in support of the F/A-18 Fighter Jet program. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determiniation by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 10-218C, dated 19 September 2010.
