Description

The Cincinnati VAMC has a requirement for an armored car service to make pick-up of locked bags from the location designated at each VA facility (VAMC, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220 and VAMC, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428), and transport the locked bags to the bank or credit union indicated for each VA facility. The contractor shall also be responsible for delivering items from the bank or credit union to the designated locations at the VA, per the request of either the bank/credit union OR one of the designated VA locations, in strict accordance with all specifications, provisions, and clauses of this solicitation. This notice is provided for informational purposes only. NAICS Code 561613/$12.5 million. It will be available only via the FedBizOPs website (www.fedbizops.gov). All Offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Maintenance (SAM). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. The solicitation will be made available after September 10, 2012. Offerors will need to click on the RFQ VA250-12-Q-0707 solicitation in order to download the solicitation documents. Submit all questions to the Contracting Officer,Mary Lu Gilbert, in writing to: VA Medical Center, Contracting Office, 260 East University Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45219 or via email at marylu.gilbert@va.gov by September 19, 2012, 2:00 p.m. EST. The response date for this solicitation is September 28, 2012 by 2:00 p.m. EST time. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing.
