- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, FA2517-12-T-6045, is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code, 336413, Other Aircraft Part and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 1000 employees. A single award will be made as a result of an evaluation of the quotes received. The specifics of this procurement are as follows. CLIN Description Quantity Unit of Measure 0001 Insulation, aircraft; HVAC Duct Insulation Blanket Material 14 RO 0002 Insulation, aircraft; Trim Fabric 4 RO CLIN 0001 Minimum Characteristics: Quantity: (14ea) • HVAC Duct Insulation Blanket Material, for use in the manufacture of thermal and acoustical HVAC insulation blankets in Lockheed Martin C-130 aircraft. Manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Lockheed LACG-597. • Color - Green #34424. • Class IIB - Medium Duty, Maximum 300⁰F, • Weight - Trim cloth and backing 7.0 ounces/square yard. • Width - 36" • Length - 25' • Thickness - 1" • Orcon Aerospace P/N 56508 or equal. CLIN 0002 Minimum Characteristics: Quantity: (4ea) • Trim fabric for use on thermal and acoustic insulation blankets (sidewall) in the Lockheed Martin C-130 aircraft manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Lockheed specification STM26-103. Trim fabric is typically used as a covering fabric for interior sidewall insulation blankets or for fabrication of under floor duct assemblies. • Color - Green #34424 • Class 4.5 Type II - Heat sealable (will have a compatible heat sensitive coating applied to the back side of the coated fabric to facilitate bonding of fabric to insulation batts). • Weight - 6.0 - 7.75 ounces/square yard. • Width - 2" • Length - 300' • Orcon Aerospace P/N 5907 or equal.
