Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8, James A. Haley intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with MedImage, Inc. to update software and hardware for MedImage systems 1890-1, 1890-2 & 3 to include options for software support. The solicitation number is VA259-12-Q2345 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210 with a small business size standard of $25.0 M. This requirement is a [Small Business] set-aside and only qualified interested parties may identify their capability to respond to the requirement via email to Candace.Renn@va.gov. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
