- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Division D, APG, MD 21005 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) for 61 CAC card readers Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with S3 Integration Security Systems & Service, 1530 Caton Center Drive. Suite N, Baltimore, MD 21227, Cage Code: 43PF5, under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement is for the CAC Card readers that will supplement the security provided to the AWG facility which houses Communications and Communications Security Equipment, Server Rooms, and Medical Supplies as well as personal records and equipment. S3 Integration Security Systems & Service is currently the sole provider for maintenance support and warranty work for AWG's existing Lenel Security System. Responsible parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 7 September 2012.
