- Solicitation amended to provide answers to the submitted questions. Q1. What is the estimated number of tracks needed per month? A1. We expect 15 to 20 new tracks per month; the total number used would vary but it could be hundreds which would be drawn from your existing library. Q2. What is the estimated size of the VOA market? A2. Including all language services, the estimated weekly audience is 132 million. Q3. What is the length of time each selection will air or be used? A3. Each item remains in a permanent library as long as contract with successful candidate is retained. Q4. Are you also looking for music research assistance with selecting music appropriate for a specific region? Offeror's experience in conducting music research in international settings; Offeror's experience in conducting music research in the Middle East. A4. We are not looking for music research assistance under this contract. Q5. Confirm that proposals for this contract are to be submitted to you in writing via email or fax or mail courier by 2PM EST on 9/15 per the terms listed in the synopsis posted on 8/28. A5. Proposals shall be submitted with an original and three (3) copies. Proposals may be sent via courier or overnight delivery before the closing deadline below. Proposals are due to Wayne Greene, Contract Specialist, Broadcasting Board of Governors, International Broadcasting Bureau, Office of Contracts, 330 C Street, SW, Room 4007D, Washington, DC 20237 before 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time on September 15, 2012.
