- Description
- A Request for Proposal(RFP) will be issued on an unrestricted basis with Other than Full and Open Competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Unrestricted Procurement. Purchase Request 0046768407, authorizes this procurement. RFP SPM4A512R1719. Contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This item is currently sole source to GEAS CAGE 81039, NSN 1680-00-075-2688, Shaft, Output,, in accordance with P/N 5541206. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 403 EA. The solicitation terms include FOB Origin, Inspection/Acceptance Origin. The delivery requested is 270 days. This requirement is for DLA Direct. This is an Export Control Item and Configuration Control Applies. This is a letter RFP. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded against a Basic Ordering Agreement. A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System(DIBBS). Sole Source (FAR 6.302) A copy of this solicitation will only be available to requestors by contacting the buyer directly. Progress payments may not be authorized for this procurement. The solicitation issue date is 09/04/12. Closing date is 10/05/12. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
