Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for six racing crew shells, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-12-392PFS109 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Description: Six crew racing shell with two speakers and wiring harness to include the following: • 135 - 220 lbs rower weight • Length: 40' 9" - 41'9" • Wetted Surface (sq ft) 56.0 - 62.2 • Carbon fiber seats with super bearing undercarriage (11.5" wheel centers) • "Throttle" type steering with marine grade cable in bow coxed boats • 316 Marine grade stainless steel fasteners and anodized or hard-coated aluminum parts • Durable and stable shell made of multiple layers of intermediate modulus, unidirectional carbon fiber and Nomex Racing Shells to be delivered to: US Coast Guard Academy 15 Mohegan Ave New London, CT 06320 Contact Jennifer Meuse @ (860) 444-8679 regarding technical questions.
