The engine exhaust system shall be provided as a complete package configured in accordance with paragraph 2.4 of the attached specification and in a state ready for attachment to an engine and immediate use at the Atlantic City New Jersey facility OR installation at the facility by the vendor. The FAA intends to compete this requirement under the authority of FAA Acquisition Management System Section 3.3.2.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Method. An award will be made to a single vendor as a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The applicable NAICS code is 334513. The estimated delivery date will be eight (8) weeks after receipt of the order. The FAA will consider proposed alternate delivery dates. Vendors are asked to submit the following: (1) Pricing Sheet (form attached) (2) Business Declaration (form attached) (3) Vendor design drawing of the proposed Vacuum Pump Engine Exhaust System (4) A statement describing the experience your company has in the design and construction of exhaust gas handling and evacuation systems via use of an electronically controlled vacuum system. Award may or may not be made on the basis of quotes received. The FAA SHALL NOT be liable and will not reimburse any party for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
