- The US ARMY Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a Blanket Purchase Agreement to Hardy Media (d/b/a Hardy Diagnostics) of Santa Maria, CA 93455-1005 for the purchase of approximately 52 distinct laboratory supply items inclusive of Hardy Diagnostics' culture media formulations of which are unique and proprietary to Hardy Media. This procurement is being issued using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. The authority for the sole source procurement is cited at FAR 13.106-1. This is not a request for quotations. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officers within 10 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this buy is 325413.
