Description
252.209-7999 REPRESENTATION BY CORPORATIONS REGARDING AN UNPAID DELINQUENT TAX LIABILITY OR A FELONY CONVICTION UNDER ANY FEDERAL LAW (DEVIATION 2012-O0004) (JAN 2012) Please sign and send in with Proposal Purchase Specifications Solicitation Need 1 NDI Eddy Current Probe Kit in accordance with the attached purchase specifications. This is a sole source acquisition to UniWest. UniWest is the sole source who prides A-10 DSK. The UniWest A-10 DSK is supplied as four individual cases, part numbers 99910, 99959, 99940, and 99960. the NDI equipment contained in each case is uniquely designed, for A-10 safety of flight critical inspection surface geometries. Under an AFRL contract, UniWest was tasked to develop and field Air Logistics Center weapon system specific kits to improve depot-level surface inspection capabilities. Under this contract, AFRL didn't procure the technical data rights for the NDI equipment that UniWest developed, patented and has sole proprietary rights for this program. the eddy current probes and reference standards contained in these kits are engineered and designed to inspect A-10 weapon system specific geometries for cracks found in the aircraft structure, such as edges, flat surfaces, radii, flat to radii transition surfaces and around raised fastener heads, collars and shanks. The UniWest A-10 DSK probes have been proofed for crack detection capability and meet or exceed the probability of detection study requirements needed for the limits published by ASIP. This data is documented in ASC/EN structures bulletin EN-SB-08-012, Revision B. The UniWest probes have been incorporated in Air Force Technical Order 33B-1-2, Nondestructive Inspection General Procedures and Process Controls and T.O. 1A-10C-36, Aircraft Structure and Components USAF Series A-10C Aircraft and are compatible with Air Force eddy current test equipment. Purchasing the UniWest probes maintains compliance with technical orders and saves the need to develop and proof other equipment or develop technical data. The UniWest A-10 DSK must be implemented to meet A-10 ASIP requirements for detectable flaw size to ensure safety of flight for the A-10 fleet.
