Description
NOAA Standard Specification AMC-000-3C, “General Requirements for Small Contract Ship Repairs”, dated August 1995. Amendment 0002, Questions and Answers, incorporates AMC-000-3C and extends due date. The Department of Commerce, NOAA Research Vessel Gloria Michelle, Woods Hole, MA has a requirement for dockside repairs as described in the specifications provided with the solicitation. Award of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required delivery date is December 14, 2012. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about September 15, 2012. The applicable NAICS number is 336611 and the small size standard is 1,000 employees. The Federal Supply Class is 1925. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small business. The request for quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered for an award of a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in SAM, contact the SAM website at www.sam.gov. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. Contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service. This is a Commercial Acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 apply.
