- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation needed to reconstruct a 1500 linear foot section of the existing BLM Cottonwood Road, Work shall include; hauling, placing, and compacting, 1400 cubic yards of Government furnished pit run material; furnishing, placing, and compacting 400 cubic yards of contractor furnished aggregate base material, and excavating around the inlet and outlet of three existing culverts and lining with contractor furnished rip rap. Project is located in Kane County, UT located approximately 23 miles North of SR 89 East of Kanab, Utah. Site visit is scheduled for August 15, 2012 at 11:00 am. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a size standard of $33.5M. Project price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. Performance time is 30 calendar days, estimated to begin September 04, 2012. This procurement is a Total HubZone Set-aside. Competition is limited to eligible SBA Certified Hub Zone concerns. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net on or about July 27, 2012.
