This Industry Day is open to all businesses. However, this contract will be competed as an 8(a) set-aside. Industry Day will be held as follows: Date: Tuesday September 25th, 2012 Start Time: 9:30am EST Location: Krome Service Processing Center 18201 SE 12th Street Miami, FL 33194 The attached Draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) is provided to interested parties for questions and comments. All questions and comments shall be in writing and submitted prior to Industry Day by September 14th, 2012. Submit all questions via email to Contract Specialist Tara Murphy at Tara.Murphy@ice.dhs.gov. Responses to all questions will be provided in writing via amendment to this Special Notice no later than Friday September 21st, 2012. Additional questions will be accepted in writing at Industry Day following a tour of the facility. Responses to all questions received during Industry Day will be posted to FBO by the following day. All questions received through this process will be included with the final, official version of the Solicitation that is posted at a later time to be determined. Each contractor interested in attending Industry Day shall provide a list of attendees no later than 6:00pm EST September 13th, 2012 to Tara Murphy via email at Tara.Murphy@ice.dhs.gov. Each contractor is limited to two attendees and must submit the following information for each attendee in order to gain clearance into the facility: Name Date of Birth Social Security Number Contractors must bring a state or federal issued identification with them in order to gain access to the facility. Contractors in attendance will be given the opportunity to tour the SPC. This visit does not qualify as the mandatory site that will be required with the Solicitation, when that is posted. It is the intention of the Office of Acquisition (OAQ)/Detention Management (DM) to provide both small and large business interested in this unique contract opportunity with the chance to preview the Krome SPC and to provide small and large business with the opportunity to meet. In addition, OAQ/DM hopes to create a dialogue with Industry regarding this draft solicitation in order to improve it.
