- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting quotes for the delivery, installation of instrumentation, real-time data reporting and final report for prestressing the diagonals for the miter gates during Lock and Dam 6 dewatering at Trempealeau WI. The scope includes instrumentation services that will be required to prestress the upstream and downstream gates (48 diagonals total). Period of performance is 2 January 2013 through 15 March 2013. Solicitation number W912ES-12-T-0149 is issued. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract and a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 334513 with a size standard of 500 employees. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.sam.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
