Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville has a requirement for the extension of the ScriptPro Central 200 robotic pharmaceutical dispensing system for the outpatient pharmacy. The extension to the ScriptPro Central 200 must have client server capability to communicate to the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) pharmacy located in Franklin, NC. Requesting brand name or equal to fulfill this requirement. The extension system will consist of: Mini ScriptPro Unit Dispenser (SPUD) Robotic Pharmaceutical Dispensing System, SP Central Platform w/Datapoint (includes 1 SP Central Server, 1 SP Datapoint), SP Central Image Server, Pharmacy Image Server, SP Datapoint Pharmacy Data Terminal, Electonic Signature Device, Inspection Camera, Client Video Package, SP Checkpoint/Datapoint Swivel Base, 6 Electronic Door Locks for Robotic System, and Reinforced Bi-Fold Doors. Salient Characteristics - Vendor must provide and maintain a drug information database, including electronic images and manufacturer barcodes, which is integrated with the system and used to systematically, identify and verify drugs via both barcode scanning and electronic image verification during the filling and dispensing process. - The system must print auxiliary labels, drug descriptive information and drug line drawings on the prescription labels. - The system must enforce positive verification at each step where a drug is handled, utilizing both barcode scan of manufacturer containers or prescription labels and on-screen electronic images of the drug. - The system must be able to track lot numbers and expiration dates for all drugs dispensed in fulfillment of prescription orders. - The system must provide security controls for personnel performing key functions, including data entry, verification, dispensing, and refilling. The system must record, and be able to report or display, operator accountability trails for all security-controlled actions taken. - Vendor must provide toll free telephone access to a Vendor-operated help desk at all times. The vendor must provide monthly data for the past three years showing the average speed of answer and Unites States of America based assistance. - Vendor must provide automated updates of all software, including third party software, drug information, and other tables required to operate the system. - Vendor must provide an all-inclusive support contract with guaranteed continuation for at least ten years and with no additional charges for the following: Software updates or upgrades required to maintain specified system functionality; maintenance parts; on-site service. - All equipment and software interfaces with ScriptPro's SP Central Workflow System so that telepharmacy support activities can be integrated into existing ScriptPro outpatient pharmacy workflow systems with the addition of the enabling audio/video package to the workstations.
