- Justification for Other Than Full & Open Competition, Brand Name This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (Number FA8307-12-Q-1140) is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60, DPN 20120724 and AFAC 2012-0330. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 750 employees. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic Systems Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCKA) at Lackland AFB, TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for Satellite Directional Antennas. This requirement will be accomplished using other than full and open competition procedures for commercial items. A brand name justification has been submitted and approved for this requirement. The following items are requested: CLIN 0001: Tactical UHF SATCOM Antenna P/N: AV 2040-2 Manufacturer: Trivec Avant Antenna Systems NSN: 5985-01-485-4672 QUANTITY: 30 Each SHIPPING ADDRESS: AFLCMC/HNCBI 230 Hall Blvd, Bldg 2028, Ste 216 San Antonio, TX 78243-7056 DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 45 Days after receipt of order (FOB Destination), shipping must be identified as part of your quote The right to make no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous for the government to do so.
