Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Vision Solutions., 15300 Barranca Parkway., Irvine, CA, for renewal of maintenance on previously purchased Mimix HA-PRO software products. This is under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) 'Soliciting from a Single Source.' SSA is not issuing this solicitation as a competitive acquisition. This software is proprietary to Vision Solutions. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price Purchase Order. Written responses to this Notice of Intent shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is NOT available. Therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government, not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government will not pay for any information submitted and responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Rick.Bolt@ssa.gov no later than September 6, 2012, 3 pm EST. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
