Description

The purpose of this acquisition is to solicit a proposal to award a Requirements Contract for the repair of 5 Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that are part of the WXR-700 Weather Radar System supporting KC-135 mission. The requirement will be for a base year and three, one year, option periods with the best estimated quantities shown below. This is not a Small Business Set aside. This acquisition will be sole source to the original manufacturer(OEM), Rockwell Collins (CAGE 13499) and its Repair Facilities. The Government doesn’t own the data or the data rights necessary to support a competitive acquisition or to qualify any new sources. Rockwell is the only contractor with the test equipment, parts, and technical data necessary to provide the repairs these components. Work performed under this effort includes all actions necessary to return the end item to a serviceable condition.
