Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request for quote (RFQ) N00189-12-Q-2288 is the only written solicitation which will be issued, unless amended. The NAICS code is 811310. The solicitation is for services to provide emergency power generation station preventative maintenance and support, as described below, in support of the Joint Staff, Norfolk and Suffolk, VA. Representatives of the Joint Staff will perform inspection and acceptance at destination. A firm fixed price purchase order is the expected result from this acquisition effort. The quoter shall provide a firm fixed price offer for: ITEM #DESCRIPTIONUNIT QTY 0001Emergency Power Generation Station Preventive Maintenance Service for CAT Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Automatic Transfer Switches and Switchgear/Circuit Breakers In Accordance with the Attached SOW “ Lot I “ Base PeriodQuarter 4 1001Emergency Power Generation Station Preventive Maintenance Service for CAT Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Automatic Transfer Switches and Switchgear/Circuit Breakers In Accordance with the Attached SOW “ Lot II “ Option IQuarter4 Quotes are to include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ”Commercial Items with their response or provide this information via the System For Award Management (SAM) website, https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The successful vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database to be considered for award. CCR registry is now accessed via the System For Award Management (SAM). The Period of Performance will be established for a one year base period, and will include three one year options periods. The Statement of Work is provided as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. All parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. on company letterhead, formal quote form, etc.) but must include the following information: Company ™s complete mailing and remittance addresses, the company ™s CAGE code, a Point of Contact (POC) name and phone number, price(s), Dun & Bradstreet Number, and Taxpayer ID number. All FAR certifications and representations specified herein must also accompany your quotation. It is the quoter ™s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.dtic.mil/dfars. The successful quoter is required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. FAR: 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.232-33. DFAR: 252.212-7000, 252.212-7001 (Dev), 252.204-7004 (Alt A), 252.232-7003 Note: The complete provision at the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-3 must accompany quote submittal. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quotation represents the lowest cost, technically acceptable submission. Quotations shall be received at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, Bldg. 2B, 700 Robbins Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111 no later than 3PM (local time) on 13 September 2012.
