Description

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center- (SWRMC) intends to execute an order under basic ordering agreement N00024-10-G-4310 Solicitation Number: BOA ORDER RFP: 0043 for Engineering, Material, and Technical Services in support of USS ASHEVILLE (SSN 758); Repair clogged Engine Diesel Generator Mist Injectors, High Pressure Air System Manifold (AHP-51) & low Pressure Air Dryer (LPAD); with an estimated period of performance/execution dates of 30 September 2012 through 5 November 2012. The two potential prime contractors are: Electric Boat Corporation, a General Dynamics Company, located at 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340-4989, and Huntington Ingalls Incorporated located at 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607-2734. This order will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The proposed agreement action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 6.303 utilizing Class J&A numbers 40,744 and 40,788. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat or Huntington Ingalls Incorporated directly.
