- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement; unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. The 62nd Engineer Battalion has a requirement for the following: Ballistic Glass Hose Assembly CR #8 41.00 2521 - QTY (5) Door Glass, LH - QTY (7) Window Assembly, RHS - QTY (5) Window Assembly, LHS - QTY (10) The Rock Island Contracting Center - Reach back intends to make an award to the following: OSHKOSH Corporation 425 North Washburn Street Oshkosh, WI 54904-7812 Interested parties may email hans.w.jacobson.civ@mail.mil no later than 14 September 2012 @ 4:00 PM CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to 14 September 2012 @ 4:00 PM CST. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
