Description
SF30 The purpose of this amendment is to change the performance period and to answer a submitted question. A) The performance period as identified in Section A, SF 1442, item 11 and Section C-1 FAR Clause 52.211-10 is changed from 45 calendar days to 65 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. B) Question: Would you please provide a simple explanation of the badging process as it's hard to follow. With the exception of the prime contractor's on-site job superintendent and one (1) on-site lead, all other prime and subcontractor personnel (at all tiers) who will be working on NCTR will undergo a background check by and through the FBI's IAFIS System. This background check may take up to a week. Once cleared, those individuals will be permitted walk-on access to NCTR and must sign in and out each day. The prime contractor's on-site job superintendent and one (1) on-site lead shall undergo a full background investigation through the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and once officially cleared will be issued a badge to drive-on and off of NCTR to transport tools, materials, and to otherwise perform their responsibilities. This full background investigation may take up to 30 calendar days, however, a preliminary clearance may be granted by OPM, usually within a week, at which point the superintendent and lead will be granted temporary access to NCTR.
