Description

Under Statutory Authority § 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Corporate Artworks LTD. for tempered glass changeable patient communication boards for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, IL. Manufacturer is Corporate Artworks LTD. This procurement includes removal of existing patient communication boards and installation of new changeable communication boards. Installation includes security clip mounting systems. Corporate Artworks LTD is a woman-owned small business and is the only vendor capable of providing the changeable communication boards manufactured by Corporate Artworks LTD. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM (CST) September 10, 2012. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 115 South 84th Street - Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476 or via fax to (414) 844-4890. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Corporate Artworks LTD.
