- Amendment #01 to Solicitation #AG-6424-S-12-0004 ------------------------------------------------------------------- START OF SOLICITATION AMENDMENT NUMBER: 01 ------------------------------------------------------------------- *AG-6424-S-12-0004-01 AMENDMENT #01, SOLICITATION/IFB NUMBER: AG-6424-S-12-0004 (Bypass Inc, DW Jones, and Ponting/Carter WRP Restoration Federal Construction Contract for USDA NRCS Missouri) The Purpose of Amendment Number 01 on Solicitation/IFB #AG-6424-S-12-0004 is to: A. Change FAR 52.228-1, Bid Guarantee (Sep 1996), on Page 25 under Part II - Contract Clauses, Section I - Contract Clauses. As a result, the amount of bid guarantee shall be twenty (20%) percent of the bid price or three million US dollars ($3,000,000.00 USD), whichever is less. *Refer to the Contracting Officer signed SF 30 for the official solicitation amendment which executes this administrative correction. B. Change Bid Guarantee Preamble Note Number 23 on Page 4, SF 1442 Block 10 Continuation Sheet Note (23). As a result, the amount of bid guarantee shall be no less than 20% of the total proposed bid price but not to exceed $3M. *Refer to the Contracting Officer signed SF 30 for the official solicitation amendment which executes this administrative correction. C. Incorporate new text clarification for Bid Guarantee Preamble Note Number 23 on Page 4, SF 1442 Block 10 Continuation Sheet Note (23). As a result....in accordance with FAR 28.101-1(b), offers submitted in response to this Solicitation/IFB shall contain a separate bid guarantee (bid bond) meeting the definition outlined at FAR 28.001 and amount as amended herein on a Standard Form (SF) 24, Bid Bond, pursuant to FAR 28.106-1(a). *Refer to the Contracting Officer signed SF 30 for the official solicitation amendment which executes this administrative clarification. D. All previous Solicitation/IFB terms, provisions, clauses, conditions, instructions, dates, deadlines, etc. remain unchanged. E. Solicitation/IFB #AG-6424-S-12-0004, Amendment Number 01 (AG-6424-S-12-0004-01) consists of the SF 30 solicitation amendment document and no attachments, 1 file only. ------------------------------------------------------------------- END OF SOLICITATION AMENDMENT NUMBER: 01 -------------------------------------------------------------------
