Description

Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order for the NCIS to purchase LSCAN Guardian from CROSS MATCH TECNOLOGIES, INC; 3950 RCA BLVD STE 5001, PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL 33410-4227. The agency ™s requirement is to LSCAN guardian for the NCIS HQ- Russell Knox Bldg located at 27130 Telegraph Rd Quantico, VA 22134. Cross Match Technologies is the only company that can provide the entire requirement on their GSA schedule for this effort. The material is same as existing systems (LSCAN). The request for equipment is due to increased requirements pursuant to aggressive agency fielding of electronic biometric collection systems. These are direct replacement parts/components for the existing equipment. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
