- Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order for NCIS to purchase the following: Citrix NetScaler Appliance from Citrix located at 851 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. The proposed acquisition is to purchase the Citrix NetScaler Appliance switch. This device is used to provide remote access to the agencies Citrix environment. They are a required piece in our Citrix environment. Maintenance is required on these devices to ensure they are operational at all times. The Citrix Subscription Advantage for XenServer, XenApp, and XenDesktop is server virtualization software that can integrate and manage both physical and virtual servers and enable best server consolidation. This tool is used to improve the management of our current Citrix environment. Maintenance is required on these software licenses to provide the latest patches and upgrades. The agency has already invested in the Citrix product to provide this service. Maintenance on the product has to be provided by Citrix. There are no other vendors that can provide maintenance on the Citrix NetScaler Appliance Switch 9010. The agency has already invested in this Citrix product to provide this service. Maintenance on the product has to be provided by Citrix. There are no other vendors that can provide maintenance on the Citrix Subscription Advantage for for XenServer. XenApp, and XenDesktop. This requirement will be Brand Name Therefore, Citrix can provide all the requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. CLIN 0002 1EAHARDWARE MAINTENANCE RENEWAL FOR CITRIX APPLIANCE MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATED WITH CITRIX NETSCALER. Deliveries will be made to PHYLLIS THIBODEAUX, NCIS 27130 Telegraph Road, Quantico, VA 22134 Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
