DISCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD FRIDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER. CONTACT A1C MCRAE FOR MORE INFORMATION. Contractor shall supply carpet/porcelain tile and deliver it to Bldg 149 for installation. See attached drawing for locations/measurements of new carpet and porcelain tile. Contractor is responsible to verify all quantities and measurements for carpet demo, floor prep, carpet installation and wall base prior to ordering materials or starting work activities. See attached statement of work and drawings for complete information. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238330 and the Standard Industry Classification, with a size standard of $14.0M. This solicitation will be posted for 10 days with an award date to be determined once funding is available. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of any modification to this synopsis/modification. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also submit their Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at SAM as well. All solicitation information may be obtained through http://www.fbo.gov. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to this notice. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-13. Once awarded, contractor will submit Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each compound or chemical intended to be utilized on the site to the base Bioenvironmental Office (90 MDOS/SGOB, 307-773-3088) for review and approval prior to delivery and use on the site. Contractor is responsible for accomplishing all work in accordance with the Statement of Work Contract Specifications and Drawings, Manufacturer's written recommendations, and all applicable building codes, standards and practices in the industry. 17.
