Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for surgical items ((1)645000 f-wo tors laryngo pharyngoscope retractor (2) 630400 retractor holder & chest support w/rod & (3)640003 attachment for chest support)) prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information as may be included ink this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal is being requested from the sole source offeror who has been deemed, per 10 U.S.C.2304(1)as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements". This determination is in accordance with the Surgeon's diagnosis and this notice provides the government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Olympus Gyrus Acmi L.P.,2925 Appling Road, Barlett, TN 38133 for subject items. Such acquisition fulfills a pressing need. This is not a set-a-side for small business. This notice satisfys a requirement for the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5901. Parties interested in future announcements shall provide detailed information relative to their capabilities, certifications, or licenses to provide such requested item(s).
