- Brand Name Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F7AGRC2248A001 and this is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This announcement will be issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract; the award will be made based on the lowest price. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-58. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: This is not an or equal solicitation. CLIN 0001 - Qty of 1 ea; Welding Simulator; Lincoln Electric P/N Ad1332-1, VRTEX360, Standard Frequency; "VRTEX 360 virtual welding trainer unit simulates SMAW (E6010 & E7018), GMAW (short arc, spray, pulse, and STT), FCAW-S and FCAW-G in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead) and multiple joint configurations (flat plate, tee joint, groove joint, 2" diameter XXS tube, and 6" diameter schedule 40 pipe). Each unit includes the following: -VR welding machine including: -computer - 4U rackmount -Windows XP Professional SP3 -Intel Core 2 Quad processor -2 x2GB DDR2 memory - solid state hard drive -2 NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700 Graphics Cards -19" LCD monitor -tracking system -VR welding stand - multi-position -virtual SMAW electrode holder with retractable stick electrode -virtual GMAW/FCAW gun -VR welding helmet including face mounted display with 3D stereoscopic output -complete set of VR welding coupons include flat plate, tee joint, groove joint, 2" and 6" diameter pipe -interactive graphical user interface for system setup and use -3 virtual welding environments -welding simulation software -instructor mode with advanced menus -English and metric units -virtual equipment and technique tolerance settings -weldometer - track virtual material usage CLIN 0002 - Qty of 1 PK; Software Upgrade Package Lincoln P/N AD1332-3 or current upgrade package including additional Welding environments and joint configurations and lesson plans FOB: Destination for delivery to Annville, PA 17003 CLAUSES INCORPORTATED BY REFERENCE: FAR 52.204-99: System for Award Management Registration (DEVIATION) FAR 52.209-6: Protecting the Governments Interest When Subcontracting with Contractors Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment FAR 52.212-4: Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items FAR 52.247-34: F.O.B. The following addenda is provided to this provision: Request for Quotation should be submitted and shall contain the following information: Solicitation Number; Time Specified for receipt of offers; Name; Address; Telephone Number of Offeror; Terms of the expressed warranty; Price, Payment terms, Any discount terms, CAGE code, DUNS number, Tax ID number and acknowledgement of all solicitation amendments.
