Description
NOTE: Due to expiration of funds for this project, there is a short response time frame. Vendors must respond by 2:00 p.m. CST (Oklahoma Time), Wednesday, September 19, 2012. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing this Request for Offer / Screening Information request (RFO / SIR) for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Services for the Retro-Commissioning of the Flight Inspection Building (FIB) and Security Command Center (SCC) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Attached is the Screening Information Request (SIR) and applicable attachments for this project. All work is to be done in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and terms and conditions contained within the solicitation. Please note the evaluation procedures in the solicitation. This RFO / SIR is open to all socio-economic categories; therefore, full and open competition. However, to be considered, your company must be registered with a DUNS number on the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov). Proposals may be delivered to the MMAC or may be submitted electronically to the following address: christopher.ekadis@faa.gov NOTE: Due to expiration of funds for this project, there is a short response time frame. Vendors must respond by 2:00 p.m. CST (Oklahoma Time), Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Responses should be submitted by utilizing the attached SIR, portable document format (i.e..pdf file) is acceptable. The FAA will not respond to telephonic inquiries. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this RFQ. This announcement shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these products. Responders to this announcement may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial response. The final determination by the FAA not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the FAA. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
