- Section J, Attch1 - Davis Bacon Wage Determination Section C, Attch4 - Fences and Gates Specifications Section 32 31 13.53 Section C, Attch3 - Security Forces Fence Layout Section C, Attch2 - Project Location Map Section C, Attch1 - Statement of Work SF 1442 A Special Notice has been issued for the construction/installation of a Security Fence at the Combat Arms Training Facility Building 690 & 693 on Joint Base Charleston - Air Base, North Charleston, South Carolina. This special notice reference number is FA4418-12-T-0004 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) IAW FAR Part 13 & 36. The work to be performed by this contract consists of furnishing all tools, qualified labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to ensure install approximately 500 linear feet of security chain link fence, one (1) 24-foot wide vehicle swing gate, and a 5-foot wide personnel gate with cipher lock. The chain link fence will be 7-feet high with a three strands of barbed wire that will be 1-foot high (See attached statement of work). This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 238990 with an $14 million size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum proposal. The dollar magnitude for this requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated performance time is 60 days. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated A site visit has been scheduled for 18 September 2012 @ 11:00AM (ET) at Bldging 690 & 693. All prospective offerors shall meet at the Pass & ID Facility located at the Main Air Base Gate located at the intersection of Dorchester Avenue & E. Hill Blvd at 9:15 AM for the issue of temporary base passes. Offerors should bring a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and current proof of vehicle insurance to obtain a visitor pass.
