- The following questions were submitted by a contractor: 1 Are the water lines that feed all of the landscaping surrounding Building 601, tied to 601? Are those water lines supposed to still be fed from the same location, or tied to a different building. If so, which one and can you supply the exact location of the tie in point? The irrigation lines surrounding building 601 are fed from the main, so re-routing will not be necessary. 2 Can the Owner provide any AutoCad drawings of existing landscaping, in addition to the aerial maps provided. No. The AutoCAD drawings of the existing landscaping at building 601 are available. 3 For the capping of the water,gas and the sanitary sewers, are we capping at the back of sidewalk or at the main. If at the main, can can the Owner provide the exact location of the mains? Water and gas laterals are to be capped at the main as specified in paragraph 1.3.2.4 of the statement of work. An exception will be made for the sewer lateral due to the fact that the main is so far from the project site. The sewer lateral can be capped at the back of the sidewalk. Approximate locations of the water, gas, and sewer mains are shown in the attached file. 4 No Demolition Plan was provided for 4856. a. Are the utilities to be capped at the back of sidewalk? At building 4856, all utilities are to be capped at the mains (all of which are in the street). b. Is the palm tree in the backyard to remain or be removed? The tree in the front yard? If they are to remain, do we need to provide irrigation to them? The palm tree in the back yard and the tree in the front yard are both to be removed. No irrigation is required at this location. c. Can the Owner provide the dimensions of the area requiring the Rebel Red rock and weed barrier (i.e. is the vacant lot to the South to be included)? The vacant lot to the south of building 4856 is not to be included when placing weed barrier and rock mulch. The approximate dimensions of the area requiring weed barrier and rock mulch are 60' by 90'.
