- Description
- The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Albuquerque Area Office has a requirement for Hydrographic Data Collection Services, the majority of the work is expected to be performed within the state of New Mexico, on the Rio Grande, Rio Chama and Pecos rivers. The Middle Rio Grande Project, extending from Velarde, New Mexico to Elephant Butte reservoir, is expected to be a focus area for work, however, there is the potential that work could also be performed in the Upper Colorado Region which encompasses New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. These activities will include hydrographic data collection, hydraulic and general engineering, Field data and library cataloging services, data entry, laboratory testing with regard to sediment and geotechnical samples, and environmental services including investigations, compliance support, and monitoring; but may also include other services related to river hydraulics, mechanics and geomorphic processes as needed by US Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) within the scope of the contract. The full Statement of Work and a Past Performance questionnaire will be attached to Amendment No. 1. It is anticipated that the Government will make multiple awards under this solicitation and will contain fixed unit prices under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity for engineering services. It is also anticipated to be a base year plus 4 one-year options with the option to extend the contract six months beyond the last date of performance of the last option year exercised by the government. This will be a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 with a Size Standard is $14.0 million. The anticipated cumulative contract value is estimated to be from $10,000,000.00 to $22,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a SF-330 which shall be considered by the agency. The procurement process will be conducted in accordance with FAR 36.6 and applicable parts of FAR 15. Prospective vendors must be registered in SAM prior to the award of a contract. A pre-proposal conference call is scheduled for October 3, 2012, 10:00 a.m. local/New Mexico time. Only questions submitted in writing will be answered during the course of the pre-proposal conference call and must be submitted by COB October 1, 2012 to George Kuechmann (contact information is below).
