Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information &Technology IT Workforce Development. The TAC intends to award a sole source, one (1) year, firm-fixed price contract to International Training Consortium, Inc. 23749 Rolling Fork Way, Gaithersburg, MD 20882, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, "Authorized or required by statute." The purpose of this contract is to develop a customized OIT specific Program/Project Management and acquisition training curriculum that builds upon the existing VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA) training offerings and provides practical examples of OIT processes, challenges, and best practices. The Contractor shall develop web-based training to include live webinars and various training modules. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611430. The estimated date of award for this action is September 28, 2012. This notification shall close on September 21, 2012.
