Description
Revised Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. Revised SOW that descopes the amount of screen being requested. Furnish all labor, supplies, material, equipment, supervision, etc to provide and install fence security screening. Please see the attached combined synopsis/solicitation, statement of work, complex drawing, photos, and Service Contract Act Wage Determination. Please submit your technical/price quotation to barbara.b.wilson@dhs.gov. Submit questions to barbara.b.wilson@dhs.gov on or before 2:00 p.m. EST, September 20, 2012. Contractor or his/her representative may contact the site for a site visit. See details in the attached solicitation. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable vendor IAW the instructions contained in the combined synopsis/solicitation. The purpose of this amendment is to descope the project by reducing the linear foot quantity of fencing. The following questions and answers were discussed during the prior site visit: •1. Are the measurements in the SOW for the height of fences around kennel 1 and 2? Yes, the measurements are under Specific Tasks. •2. Will the aluminum siding fence between kennels 1 and 2 be replaced? No, the fence will not be replaced. •3. Are permits needed? The contractors do not believe that permits are needed, but they will verify. •4. Where are the access roads to the areas around the work site? The access roads were pointed out to the vendors. Are the removal of the dirt mounds and foliage around the fence in the SOW? No.
