Description
This solicitation is for supplies and is being advertised as a 100% small business set-aside. A firm is small if gross annual receipts are $33.5M or less. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237110. This project is to utilize geotechnical material in sand dune stabilization efforts. Geotechnical materials include: 1) 31,970 square feet of 6 Presto Geoweb GW30V60829P; 8.4 x 21.3 ; (Nominal 230 SF section) (139 sections) green or tan (2) Twelve (12) cases of Atra Keys (37/section); (450 keys/case) (3) 3,500 square yards of Mirafi 170 N permeable separator fabric, 15 x 300 ; (500 SY/Roll) These Materials are to be used at Pacific Missile Range Facility for the purpose of stabilizing exposed archaeological site areas on a 4 x 4 trail that traverses sand dunes sufficient to withstand maximum weight and frequency of regular vehicle traffic without incurring further damage to sand dune. Materials must match all brand specifications listed above for compatibility. In addition, services required include freight and delivery to Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kauai Island by November 16, 2012. This Acquisition is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c), Acquisition is limited to brand name applications. Source Selection procedures from FAR Part 13 will be used. This is a new procurement which does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. All offerors are to submit their quotes electronically to Mr. Mark Asato at email: mark.asato@navy.mil by 24 September 2012, 12 P.M. HST. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. The Solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/ and Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://www.neco.navy.mil. No hard copies will be provided. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE DAILY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Prospective offerors MUST register themselves on the website. The Plan holders lists will be available only at the website listed above.
