- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) for the Leasing of five, 3 axle low bed Semitrailers as prescribed in the attached statement of work. The closing date for this solicitation is 21 September 2012. All quotations must be received via e-mail no later than the time specified. All questions pertaining to this RFQ must be in writing and be submitted via e-mail and received by the 409th CSB/Theatre Contracting Center (TCC) no later than 17:00 central european standard time. The Contracting NCO for this solicitation is Sergeant First Class Alison Schuman. The Contracting Officer for this Solicitation is Ms. Melissa Lynn. The email addresses for submission of all quotations are alison.schuman.mil@mail.mil & melissa.k.lynn.civ@mail.mil; all questions must be addressed only to the individuals listed above. The solicitation number for this procurement is W564KV-12-T-1024. US Government intends to award a single award contract. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract(s) under FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedure. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-58 and DFARS DPN 20120615. All the prices shall be in Euros. Price should not include VAT due to US Government VAT exemption in Germany. Price should include price of delivery and pick-up. *This is NOT an order. ALL quotes are due by the specified date and time, Central European time via email. This document is not legally binding and does not obligate the U.S. Government in any way. BASIS OF AWARD 1)The award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation is the lowest price technically acceptable. Technically acceptable offerors will be determined as acceptable or unacceptable based on the ability to meet the technical specifications of the requirement.
