THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) is conducting market research for qualified firms capable of providing Theophylline to seven (7) geographically separate locations. CMOP facilities are located at Chelmsford, MA; Charleston, SC; Hines, IL; Lancaster, TX; Leavenworth, KS; Murfreesboro, TN, and Tucson, AZ Pharmaceutical information including sample approved NDCs is shown below: Theophylline 100MG SA TAB 50111-483-02500 TABLET, EXTENDED RELEASE in 1 BOTTLE Theophylline 200MG SA Tab 50111-482-02500 TABLET, EXTENDED RELEASE in 1 BOTTLE Or 50111-482-031000 TABLET, EXTENDED RELEASE in 1 BOTTLE Theophylline 300MG SA Tab 50111-459-02500 TABLET, EXTENDED RELEASE in 1 BOTTLE Or 50111-459-031000 TABLET, EXTENDED RELEASE in 1 BOTTLE The estimated 6 month usage is shown below: Theophylline 100MG SA TAB 152,652 tablets Theophylline 200MG SA Tab 885,267 tablets Theophylline 300MG SA Tab 856,490 tablets NOTE: The above estimated quantities would be required for a base period (6 months) and three (3) 6-month Option periods Offerors having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated pharmaceutical are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Kristine Hostetler at Kristine.Hosstetler@va.gov no later than September 27, 2012. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and size standard; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested delivery schedule; suggested manufacturer and country of origin; and market limitations. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Kristine Hostetler via e-mail. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
