- Boots Combat Temperate Weather Mountain Purchase Description Boots, Combat, Temperate Weather, Mountain, Quantity: Minimum: 18,000 Pr; Maximum 90,000 Pr, AEQ 72,000 Pr with a base year and four options terms. Base year 1 through option 4 quantities: Minimum: 18,000 Pr; Maximum: 90,000 Pr. Destination: New Cumberland, PA (DDSP) and Tracy, CA (DDJC). Items to be manufactured in accordance with GL-PD-10-01E. production lead time is 120 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following factors: Product Demonstration Model, Past Performance and Socio-Economic. One award will be made for the total quantities listed above. Availability of solcitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solcitation amendments. Solcitation will be posted on https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ after September 28, 2012. Detailed system requirements and instructions for registration can be found on the DLA DIBBS Home Page accessed on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. The Defense appropriations and authorizations acts and other statuses (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") imposed restrictions on the DOD's acquisitions of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exception applies.
