Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Vetrans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a Thoracic Tower Video, Monitor, and Slave System in support of the John D. Dingel Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street Detroit, MI 48201. NAICS code is 339112, size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Olympus America Inc., 3500 Corporate Parkway, Center Valley, PA for this requirement due to Olympus America Inc. due to the other systems that the Thoracic tower has to function with being Olympus America systems. The contractor shall provide all supplies, as required by the John D. Dingel Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street Detroit, MI 48201. Delivery will be 60 days after contract award. This procurement will be conducted with the procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 15. Proposals are due no later than 3:00PM (EST) on the 27th of September, 2012.
