Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The VA Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22), Long Beach, California intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Regents of the University of California, UCSD Health Services Research Center, 9500 Gilman Drive, Q-009, La Jolla, CA 92093. Contract is projected to be awarded by September 29, 2012. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-61. A justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. Request for Quotation is VA262-13-Q-1947. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611310 and the small business size standard is considered 7.0M. UCSD Health Services Research Center shall provide a service contract for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Services for Research Projects for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time Saturday, September 29, 2012. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
