- Description
- Limited Source Justification ND DHS FPS has a requirement to continue armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services in various locations throughout the states of Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota for a six month period at an estimated value of $2,500,000. The proposed acquisition is for the provision of armed PSO services throughout the states of Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota until the award of a competitive follow-on contract is made and the 120 day transition period associated with the follow-on contract is completed. Presently, FPS is obtaining the aforementioned PSO service under GSA FSS Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) HSCECA-07-A-70004, HSCECA-07-A-70005, and HSCECA-07-A-70006 awarded to Security Consultants Group, Inc. under contract GS-07F-0267L. The BPAs expire on September 30, 2012. The agency is in the process of procuring follow on services via Request for Proposal (RFP) HSHQW8-11-R-00001 with an anticipated award date of October 31, 2012. The proposed action is to acquire continued PSO services from SCG until performance can begin under the follow on contract. The task orders to be issued and respective values are: HSHQW8-13-F-00007, state of Montana, $1,500,000; HSHQW8-13-F-00008, state of North Dakota, $500,000; and HSHQW8-13-F-00009, state of South Dakota, $500,000. The performance period for all three task orders including options is October 1, 2012, through March 31, 2013, at an approximate value of $2,500,000.
