Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a firm-fixed-price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of Engineering Change Proposal 6430 ‘Enhancement of the Aft Pivot Support Fitting for United States Navy (USN) F/A-18E/F, USN EA-18G and F/A-18 FMS aircraft on a sole source basis. This procurement is for 657 United States Navy (USN) retrofit kits and 24Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) retrofit kits. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
