- In accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-2(a)(2)(iii)(B), the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source bridge contract to Government Contracts Consultants Technologies GCC, LLC of McHenry MD. to provide four months of of support services to the NAVSEA Visitor Control Center (VCC). These services are deemed to be only available from one source, and award to any other source woule result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Governments requirement. GCC Technologies, LLC is currently supporting the NAVSEA VCC. A bridge contract is required to provide for uninterrupted support and to allow for a new competitive SEAPORT task order to be awarded. Any break in service would cause visitors to wait in long lines at the guard station to gain access. Additionally, there would be no way to verify clearance information, resulting in all visitors requiring an escort. (see numbered note 22).
