- Description
- Nellis Air Force Base, located near Las Vegas Nevada has a requirement for a Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store (COCESS). COCESS is a 'one stop shop'. The COCESS contractor shall acquire, issue, deliver, and store a variety of material, equipment, parts, tools, and supplies for construction, and facility maintenance and repair, and lawn and garden equipment repair for use by authorized government personnel. The requirement will be satisfied through the issuance of an unrestricted solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The requirement is anticipated to use the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process with Past Performance as an evaluation factor. The guarantee minimum will be $200K and the contract maximum will be $20M. The anticipated date for the release of the solicitation is 4 December 2012. The anticipated date for the receipt of proposals is 18 January 2013. Award is expected without conducting negotiations. If negotiations / discussions are not conducted after the receipt of proposals, then the anticipated award date is 15 February 2013 with a performance start date of 1 March 2013. If negotiations / discussions are conducted, then the anticipated award date is 15 April 2013 with a performance start date of 1 May 2013. The assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332510 with a small business standard 500. This requirement is NOT set-aside for small business. However, any business other than small will be required to have a small business sub-contracting plan included in their proposal. Only offerors registered at the System for Award Management (SAM) web page, https://www.sam.gov/ are eligible for award. The solicitation will be issued electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page, https://www.fbo.gov/. Paper solicitations will not be issued or otherwise provided. Interested parties are responsible to monitor FBO for updates and changes. The dates included in this synopsis are tentative and subject to change. The firm dates will be provided in the solicitation once issued.
