Description
The Portland Oregon VA Medical Center is seeking the following professional Courier Services: Project Scope: The purpose of this contract is to provide Hired Car services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) in Portland, Oregon, Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, Washington, East Glisan, Hillsboro and West Linn Community Based Outpatient Centers (CBOC). The Contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and reports necessary for all Hired Car services as identified on the Schedule in Section B. The Request for Quotations number is VA260-13-Q-0008. Cascading set-aside procedures shall be in effect, reviewing SDVOSB, VOSB, and 8(a)/HubZone sources respectively. A determination shall be made by the Contracting Officer as to the adequacy of sources in any of the aforementioned categories to meet the "Rule of Two." If there are not sufficient sources in any of the aforementioned categories then the field shall be open to all Small Businesses. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (492110) is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations. The anticipated start date of this contract is 11/01/2012. The contract shall be for an initial period of one year, ending 09/30/2013. One possible extension option shall be provided, depending on contractor performance. The solicitation shall result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed-price contract. Interested parties are encouraged to register on the solicitation mailing list.
