Description
The Property Management Service Center, Minnesota/Wisconsin Service Center intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contracts (MAC) for repair, alteration, and construction services for the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. The resultant awards will cover various geographic areas within the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Typical work includes, but is not be limited to: interior and exterior renovations, office space build-outs, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning to include controls, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, fire and security systems, communications, site-work, landscaping, fencing, masonry, concrete, asphalt paving, storm drainage, asbestos and lead abatement, mold and limited soil remediation, and other related work. All work to be performed under the awarded IDIQ MACs will be in accordance with individual delivery order requirements, specifications and drawings provided with each project or master specifications. This project is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this work is 236220, small business size standard is $33.5 million. All responsible firms may submit an offer. These anticipated contracts will consist of a Base Award Period of one (1) year, and four (4) one-year option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed five (5) years. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15 source selection procedures. Proposals will be evaluated on experrience, past performance, and price. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around October 30, 2012. A pre-proposal meeting will be conducted, the date and time to be set-forth in the solicitation package. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference and site visit. The solicitation closing date will be 30 days after the issuance of the solicitation package. The actual date and time will be identified in the solicitation. All information, amendments and questions concerning this solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: http://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the Internet site at https://www.sam.gov or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at http://www.fds.gov. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications through the SAM website. The solicitation and associated information will be available from the FBO site mentioned above. No telephone requests will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All inquiries must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be available on the aforementioned FBO posting.
