Description
The purpose of this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is to procure GPS-S hardware systems and all associated testing, training and ILS documentation to support production, fielding, training and operation of the GPS-S to the warfighter. The GPS-S is a survey set for performing precise control and construction surveys using Precise Positioning Service (PPS) Global Positioning System (GPS) signals. It is intended to replace the obsolete Navigation Set, Satellite Signals, AN/GSN-13. The GPS-S is a Selective Availability Anti Spoofing Module (SAASM) integrated PPS GPS receiver. GPS-S requires dual-frequency, all-in-view, tracking of pseudo-range and carrier phase for survey operations. Modes of operation include static and kinematic differential survey, and precise point positioning. The three receivers in the set provide reference and rover station capability for differential survey. The GPS-S Production Contract will have a base period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. This structure will allow the government to procure the appropriate quantities of systems over the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) Budget Cycle. The estimated total value of the contract is Not to Exceed (NTE) $22.345M, with a maximum of $5.3M per year, and a minimum order amount of $100,000 guaranteed over the life the contract.
