- U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Adminstration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: VA City: Arlington Delineated Area: Ballston-Virginia Square submarket in Arlington, VA and within the following delineated area: North: Washington Boulevard East: North Kirkwood Road & North Jackson Street South: North Fifth Street West: North Glebe Road, Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 61,676 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 63,000 Space Type: Office and Related Spaces Parking Spaces (Total): 6 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 6 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 8.25 years Firm Term: 8.25 years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: The United States Government intends to exercise a 99-month renewal option, using other than full and open competition at 4200 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA, for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / United States Coast Guard. This lease will be for a total of 61,676 ABOA square feet / 70,060 rentable square feet of office and related space effective June 26, 2013. Firms who are interested in commenting regarding the Government's intent to exercise this renewal option or in obtaining additional information regarding the above action should provide their written comments to Michaela Garcia, Leasing Specialist, at michaela.garcia@gsa.gov to her attention at the General Services Administration, Real Estate Acquisition Group, 301 7 th Street, SW, Suite 1610, Washington, DC, 20407. Comments mailed to this address should be made by a delivery method with confirmation since mail delivered to this location is irradiated. Any written comments are to be received by the General Services Administration by 4:00 pm on October 22, 2012. Any potential offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The Government's decision regarding whether or not to solicit offers will be based, in part, on information received in response to this notice.
